The Bayelsa State Honourable Commissioner for Labour,Employment and Productivity, Chief Collins Cocodia on Wednesday 29th of August 2018 was given an Award as the most Youth Supportive Commissioner in Bayelsa State.
According to the DG. Of BYLA Awards(Hon. Atti J Moses) he described Chief Collins Cocodia as a man who is result Oriented and believes in the meaningful and Consistent Engagement of Youths in Creative Activities geared towards their Self Sustenance that's why he is carrying out Numerous Programs in his Ministry and this as kept many Youths engaged in Productive activities.
Chief Collins Cocodia is the immediate Past Commissioner for Youth Development in Bayelsa State and his Antecedent in his former Ministry Speaks Volume of him.
The Honourable Commissioner commended Hon. Atti J Moses and the Organizers of the Program for their Consistency and Resilience in Organizing Youth Oriented Programs and Activities despite the Lack of Financial Support individuals and institutions,he further Stated that sometimes he is surprised with the massive turn up and the successes of the Various Programs Organized.
The Bayelsa Youth Leadership Awards is geared towards rewarding Excellence and Creativity amongst Youths and Stakeholders of Youth Development. The first edition was held on the 12th Of August 2017 (International Youth Day).
