Pastor arrested for defiling two teenagers in Delta


The Police in Delta State have arrested a 29- year- old pastor for allegedly defiling two teenage girls and children of his co-pastor.
The State Commissioner of Police , Mr Zanna Ibrahim, disclosed the development on Tuesday saying the cleric was arrested in Obiaruku , Ukwuani Local Government Area of the state .
Ibrahim said the suspect identified as Cletus Metititri, a pastor with a new generational church (name withheld ) was alleged to have defiled the girls, who are less than 16 years.
The PUNCH learnt that medical examination of the underage girls revealed that the teenagers were actually sexually molested.
The CP added , “ On Sunday, the 6 th of August 2017, at about 9. 10pm, one Pastor Olomu Friday , 45 years old of Back of Filling Station , Obiaruku reported that his two daughters were sexually assaulted by the suspect (Pastor Cletus ).
“ He stated that he was informed by his son , Olomu Chris , 22 years, that he saw the said Pastor Cletus and the two girls coming out from an empty flat in their compound in a suspicious manner. ”
“ The suspect was arrested and doctors ’ report has indicated that the victims were sexually assaulted. Further investigation into the case is ongoing ” , he further addeadded
