An anti-Trump protester caused a scare on Tuesday night when
he set himself on fire outside Donald Trump’s hotel.
The unidentified man suffered non-life threatening injuries
and was taken to the hospital by the police, who along with fire fighters were
called by workers in the hotel, according to a report by Mail Online.
The report said the man had set himself on fire around
9:30pm, yelling ‘Trump’ repeatedly with flames on his back.
He was quoted as saying in an interview with NBC, “I tried
to light myself on fire as an act of protest. ‘(I’m protesting) the fact that
we’ve elected somebody who is completely incapable of respecting the
constitution of the United States.”
